Put a Strong Advocate on Your Side

The mortgage lenders have experienced attorneys working on their side to protect their rights. You should too. Our attorneys have more than 40 years of combined experience. Our foreclosure defense team includes a former prosecutor.

Our lawyers work to keep people in their homes. We work toward alternatives to foreclosure, including loan modifications and short sales. If foreclosure is in your best interest, we can work toward a resolution that may allow you to remain in your home as long as possible to save enough for a new start.

You may have valuable defenses and counterclaims against your mortgage company that could prevent foreclosure and even require your lender to pay you damages. Across the country, judges are punishing mortgage companies for incomplete record keeping and violations of the Truth in Lending Act.

There is a new bill progressing threw the Florida legislature dealing with the manor in which foreclosure cases will be handled in our courts. The bill is HB 213. It passed the Florida House but the Senate did not get a chance to vote on the bill. Our legislature is now in special session. IF this issue is added to the agenda, I firmly believe it will pass and the Governor will sign it into law. Foreclosures will move a lot faster. But more important, the Bill takes away many safe guards that are in place to protect us from improper foreclosures. It will strip away many of our rights we now have. Call or write your Florida representative.
